Sworn translation

A translation signed by a translator whose signature is registered with a notary, declaring that it faithfully reflects the original.

When it is enough

Many institutions accept a sworn translator’s signature and stamp on its own. If the body asking for the document does not also require notarisation, no further step is needed.

Who does the work matters

Our translators are employed here and trained in philology. We do not use a freelance pool: we know who translated your document, and the responsibility stays with us.

The checking step

Every translation is checked against the source by an editor other than the translator. Proper nouns, dates and figures are verified separately.

If you are not sure

Tell us which institution is asking for the document and we will work out the level of certification together. Nobody benefits from your paying for a certification you do not need.
